How much does car window tint cost in Las Vegas?
Carbon film starts at $200+ for most sedans. Premium ceramic film starts at $450+. Pricing scales with vehicle size and how many windows you're tinting. We quote exact pricing on the phone — tell us year/make/model and we'll be specific.
Is window tint legal in Nevada?
Yes — within limits. Nevada allows any darkness on the back side windows and rear glass. Front side windows must be 35% VLT or lighter (i.e., letting 35% or more of light through). We install only legal-compliant tint by default and review the law with you before any film goes on. Medical exemptions are also available.
How long does the tint last?
Our Solar Gard films are backed by a lifetime warranty against bubbling, peeling, cracking, and color change (i.e., the dreaded purple fade) for as long as you own the vehicle. The warranty transfers nowhere — but it travels with you to any Solar Gard authorized dealer nationwide.
Can you remove my old tint?
Yes. We professionally remove old, bubbling, or purple-faded tint before installing new film. Removal is quoted on inspection because every car peels differently — a bad DIY job can take 4x as long as a factory install.
How long does installation take?
Sedans: 1.5–2 hours. SUVs and trucks: 2–3 hours. Vans and oversize vehicles can run longer. Most appointments are same-day; we have a comfortable lobby with Wi-Fi if you want to wait.
Will tint scratch off in the car wash?
No. Modern film is installed on the inside of the glass, so the exterior wash doesn't touch it. The film fully cures within 5–7 days; during that window, don't roll the windows down. After that, normal washing is fine.
Do you do strip tint or eyebrow tint?
Yes. We can install a windshield strip (top-band sun visor) where Nevada law allows, and we'll tell you exactly how far down it can legally go.
What about windshield ceramic?
We offer 70% ceramic on the full windshield — virtually clear to the eye, but blocks roughly 60–70% of solar heat. It's the single best dollar-for-dollar upgrade for hot-cabin commuters who park in the sun. Ask us about it on the call.
