Do you tint the Tesla glass roof?
Yes. The panoramic glass roof on Model 3, Model Y, Model S, and Model X is one of our most-requested installs. We use a ceramic film engineered for large curved glass that knocks down direct overhead sun and meaningfully cuts the heat coming through the roof.
Will tint affect Tesla's auto-dimming or sensors?
No. We use non-metallic ceramic film, which is fully compatible with Tesla's cameras, GPS, cellular/Wi-Fi, FSD sensors, and auto-dimming features. Metallic tints can interfere — we don't install those on EVs.
How much does Tesla tint cost?
Full ceramic packages for Tesla side and rear windows start around $450+. Glass-roof ceramic tint starts at $750+ depending on model. Full vehicle (sides + rear + roof) typically runs $1,100+. We quote exact pricing by model on the call.
Does tint extend Tesla range?
Tint reduces the A/C workload by blocking solar heat, which can modestly improve real-world range — especially in summer. The bigger win is comfort: the cabin cools faster, the seats don't roast, and you spend less time waiting for the climate to catch up.
Which Tesla models do you tint?
All of them: Model 3, Model Y, Model S, Model X, and Cybertruck. We have computer-cut patterns dialed for every panel on every Tesla, including refresh-year body changes.
How long does a Tesla install take?
Side windows + rear: about 2 hours. Glass-roof only: 1.5–2 hours. Full vehicle: 3–4 hours. We schedule Teslas with extra time because the panoramic roof on Model 3/Y has a specific install sequence we don't rush.
Will the tint stop bird droppings or sand from etching the glass?
Window tint sits on the inside of the glass, so it doesn't protect the outside surface from etching. For paint and glass protection on the outside, look at our Paint Protection Film (PPF) service.
